Accessing files using sFTP

Introduction

This guide will teach you how to access your server's sFTP, a valuable tool for managing server files. With sFTP, you can upload large files, organize them, and obtain information on each file. To begin, you'll need to install an SFTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP. You can find the respective download links for each below:

📂 Connecting With FileZilla 📂

1. Open FileZilla after it finishes downloading. It will display your computer files on the left side

1. Go to your hosting panel dashboard, navigate to your server, and click on the settings tab to access sFTP login details. Copy the connection address (excluding ":2022") and paste it into the host field.

1. Copy your username and paste it into the username field.

1. Enter your panel’s password in the password field and "2022" in the port field. Then, click./ Qui4ck Connect.

In the event, it shows a warning saying It's connecting to an untrusted server, you can just go ahead and click on yes. Nothing will happen to your server.

1. You should now be connected to your server and able to access all your files!

📁 Connecting With WinSCP 📁

Note: WinSCP is only available for Windows users.

1. Open WinSCP. Your interface should resemble the one below. Click on “New Session” in the top-left corner. If not, ensure everything is set up properly.

1. Go to your hosting panel dashboard, navigate to your server, and click on the settings tab to access sFTP login details. Copy the connection address and paste it into the hostname field.
